The Event

What is the event? Santa in the City London will be taking place on two days, 04 December and 05 December. You can register for £28.95pp which includes your Santa suit and medal.

Santa in the City Tunbridge Wells will be taking place on 07 December. You can register for £14.95pp which includes your Santa suit and medal.

Is there a virtual Santa Run happening? Yes, there is. It is known as My Santa Run and it is free to enter. You can run anywhere, anytime in December, and purchase a Santa Suit, medal, and running number (£22.95 + p&P) if you want to. Just email us via santa@tfaltd.co.uk to get your suit and medal.

Is there a bag drop at this event? No. Unfortunately, due to security reasons, there will not be a bag drop, so please come run ready or be prepared to run with your bag. Any items/bags left unattended may be removed and destroyed. If you do see a bag unattended please advise the event or security team immediately. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

What happens if I find I can’t make Santa in the City? If you have signed up and can’t make it or would like to now run virtually or defer your place, all you need to do is click here.

What are the registration options? You can register as an Individual or register as a group.

What is the minimum size for a Group or Team? The minimum size for a Group is two people.

Do I have to be part of a team to take part? No, not at all.

Can I run for a Charity? Yes, you can run for any charity of your choice, but it is not a condition of taking part.

How much is a Santa in the City running place? Santa in the City London running places are £24.95pp which includes your Santa suit running number and medal. There is a small additional charge for registration booking fees or invoice fees. Each ‘Virtual Santa Run’ running place is free. Virtual running places do not include a Santa suit, running number, or medal, which can be purchased separately.

How much is the booking fee? There is no registration booking fee.

How old do I need to be to enter? Runners must be over 3 years old to enter. All runners between 3yrs - and 18 years are free, they receive a medal but do not receive a Santa suit.

Children aged 3-8 years need to be accompanied by a participating adult at all times. The participating adult can accompany a maximum of three 3-8-year-olds and must have them within arms reach throughout the run.

Children aged 9-18 years must have parental permission to take part and have a responsible adult (+18 years) available at the event. The responsible adult does not need to take part in the run.

All children (3-18yrs) must register for a place via the website and have a parent/guardian complete a Child Registration form for them in advance or they will be refused entry on the day.

If I pay for a Santa in the City running place and then find I can't do the run, what are my options?
You have two options in this event they are:  
Option 1 - Transfer your place to another person by emailing the event team at santa@tfaltd.co.uk. Please put 'TRANSFER' in the title of the email and Include your name, runner confirmation number, and the person who will be taking your place.
Option 2 - Defer your place to 2025 by email by emailing the event team at santa@tfaltd.co.uk. Please put 'DEFER 25' in the title of the email and Include your name, and runner confirmation number in the email. You cannot defer your place after 6 pm on 30 November 2024.

Is Santa in the City accessible? Our Santa in the City route is fully accessible for participants wanting to take part in wheelchairs or run with buggies.


Santa Suits…

When do I get my Santa Suit and medal? 

  • If you are running the event virtually, Santa suits and medals are available for purchase on the website during the registration process. They cost £22.95 + P&P..

  • For actual Santa in the City runners Santa Suits can be collected on the day of the event at the Santa in the City registration point:

    London - from 12.00 pm. This is located at The Founders Arms, Southbank.

    Tunbridge Wells - from 12.00 pm. This is located by the cafe in Grosvenor & Hilbert Park

    You will be given a medal at the finish line.

Can I get my Santa Suit before the day of the/my event? Yes just contact us and we will arrange with you. Postage fees may apply.

Can I order extra Santa Suits & medals? Yes, you can they are available for £22.95 (postage fees may apply) and can be purchased when you register.

Are children’s Santa Suits available? Unfortunately, we do not supply children’s Santa Suits. Children are welcome to run for free, they must be at least 8 years old to take part and are welcome to wear their own festive outfits.


What time can I check in on the day for Santa in the City, London? You can check in from 6am on the day of the event.

What time does the run start?

London - The run starts at 7.00 pm. Please be at the start point ready to run 5-10 minutes before your wave is due to start.

Tunbridge Wells - The run starts at 2.00 pm. Please be at the start point ready to run 5-10 minutes before your wave is due to start.

Does Santa in the City have a bag drop? There is unfortunately not a bag drop, so please travel light. Please do not leave any bags unattended in the event area as they will be removed and may be destroyed. If you do see a bag unattended please advise the event or security team immediately. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

When can I do ‘My Virtual Santa Run’? Anytime and anywhere in December.

Who is our 2024 London charity partner? We are pleased to be collaborating with the national bone and soft tissue cancer charity, Sarcoma UK, as this year’s Santa in the City charity partner.

Sarcoma UK is a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer, and campaigns for better treatments. It is the only cancer charity in the UK focusing on all types of sarcoma.

Can I run for Sarcoma UK?  Absolutely! Get in touch with Sarcoma UK’s fundraising team. Sarcoma UK is happy to support individuals as well as small and large groups, from the day you join until you cross the finish line, and beyond.
