Virtual dinner party - get some of your friends together virtually and have a dinner party. Ask them to perhaps donate the cost of a what they may have spent on a night out or the cost of a bottle of wine.
Share your secret – Do you have a hidden talent? Could you run a virtual class for your friends and family. Perhaps cooking, yoga or teaching a language? Whatever it maybe, you could set a date and time for everyone to join to share your skills!
Virtual auction - We all have items around the house we’ve been meaning to take the charity shop. Host a night where you showcase them and ask for bids as donations, you never know what people will buy! Remember once the hammer comes down it’s sold!
Quiz Night – I know these have been popular, but we all love them. Host yours with friends & family using video chat. To help you can download our astriid quiz pack here.
Movie Night - Use Netflix Party to host a movie night with your friends. Perhaps make the donation the cost of a cinema ticket and bucket of popcorn!
Gaming night - Time to see who will have bragging rights. Whether it is FIFA or Wii Sports, invite your friends and ask for a donation as their entry fee.
Rock, Paper, Scissors – challenge your friends & family to a Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament. This could be a great one for the office and you could combine this with a virtual team-social. Ask everyone for a donation to enter and give a prize for the winner. Beware this does get competitive!
Headshave - Your friends may like your new locks, but you may not be so keen. So why not shave your head or at least a clip! Volunteer for a family memeber to do it. Set a time and date and allow people to watch in return for a donation. Maybe have it all removed if you raise a pre-agreed amount!
He or She who dares - Are your team up for a laugh? Well more importantly is your boss? If so why not get your team to wear a funny costume on video call. Perhaps you could do a call the in the bathroom, in bed or another unusual place!
Fitness challenge - Do you crave burpees, sit ups or press ups. You could set a challenge to complete a certain number in a certain time and ask for donations in return. Great to do with the kids!
